WebJan 7, 2024 · Some campaigners who fought for Portishead facility in 2010 now have children of their own. WebPortishead Wheels and Skate Park (WASP) received planning permission in the summer. The group successfully raised the £360,000 needed to build the park through crowdfunding and funding from the town council. Building company Maverick Skateparks will start building the park on 20 February and aims to complete it by mid to late May.
